This is an introductory course to Spanish for students with no past experience in the study of a second language. This course aims to help students acquire communication skills at the novice-mid level in both oral and written Spanish through the interpersonal, interpretative and presentational modes.

We will be covering the following thematic units in Spanish 1:

• Unit 1 - Hola, ¿Qué tal? Hablemos de los amigos.

• Unit 2 - La vida escolar

• Unit 3 - Pasándola en familia

• Unit 4 - Te invito a mi casa

• Unit 5 - ¡Vamos de vacaciones!
